Welcome to Grosvenor Lawn Tennis Club and many thanks for checking out our website. We provide a welcoming tennis environment offering tennis to all ages and abilities. We are situated in a quiet area north of Upminster station, ideally located if you are looking to play tennis in Upminster or if you are based in the surrounding areas of Essex and are looking for a friendly game of tennis.
Exciting times at Grosvenor and a great time to join us. The resurfacing of our existing courts has now been completed and I’m sure you will all agree they look fantastic. We also took the opportunity to replace some of the chain link fencing and decorate the club house. These works are a follow on to us introducing floodlighting on court No 3. bringing the total number of courts with floodlighting to 3. Finally we installed a new Patio area for summer BBQ’s and replaced the footpath adjacent the club house, what an incredible couple of years for such a small club like ours. So if you’re interested in playing tennis please give us a call and take advantage of our brilliant facilities, you will be made very welcome whatever level from beginners all ages to seasoned players please come along and try out the facilities we are sure you won’t be disappointed. The club offers a range of social tennis, internal competitions, league match play at all levels and coaching for everyone. We also have a information pack which you may find useful.
Membership
We have a range of membership packages for all standards from beginners to experienced players and also offer off-peak membership. We welcome applications from new members and would be delighted to show you around, explain our membership details and organise a game of tennis for you.

Match Play
We run a range of internal tournaments and enter numerous teams into leagues throughout the year. This allows members to pit their skills against each other and to compete against teams from across Essex.
